Flowers, they are great for slowing down the rolling speed but they are not necessary

Wicks

We have designed several proprietary weaves for contact staff wicks.  These wicks are intended for stage and performance, Wow your audience with bigger flames with out sacrifice.  

Diameters

Several options for staff diameter (thickness).
This is the diameter of the carbon fiber core, before grip material is applied.

If you're unsure of which diameter to choose, we recommend 18mm.

Skinnier diameters roll more slowly, and thicker diameters roll more quickly.

The 16mm diameter size is currently a very popular diameter.  We recommend 16mm staves not be longer than 58 inches.  The skinnier carbon fiber poles will flex more easily, which can cause staves to feel bouncy and less rigid.

Grip

We offer 2 types of grips for your staff:

Wizard Grip:
The ultimate contact staff grip made from sustainable natural rubber.  It is light-weight, extremely grippy, and comfortable on the skin.  Absorbs sweat while maintaining very good traction.  Available in multiple colors, and as thin or double-thickness.  Requires replacing after about 1 season of use.  Prolonged UV-light exposure can degrade the natural rubber grip material. Thin grip is about 28g lighter than thick wizard grip

Goat Grip:
A dense and durable rubber with a gripping texture.  The benefit of this grip is extreme durability.  Never worry about needing to replace your staff's grip.  Available only in black. Adds about 40g compared to thick wizard grip
